HarperSage is a clothing brand focused on celebrating and empowering women. I was commissioned to bring a fresh design to their best-selling tote bag, which always features the phrase, “be soft and kind, but take no shit”.
The Spring collection mood board and color palette provided by the brand owners evoked a vibe of eclectic preppiness. Inspired by chessboards and gingham, I collaborated with their team to create a bold, color blocked design.
Embracing one’s duality is central to the HarperSage brand. The dual color story and use of negative space illustrate the idea of two opposing forces creating a complete image.
